
Employers that offer employee benefit plans on a calendar-year basis must submit their annual Form 5500 reports to the Department of Labor (DOL) for 2021 by August 1, 2022.
You can extend this deadline by two and a half months. To do so, file IRS Form 5558 by August 1, 2022, which extends the deadline until October 17, 2022.
